WELCOME TO ALL

St. Teilo's is a lively church, liberal high Anglican in ecclesiology and liturgy, which prides itself on its inclusivity. All, all, all are welcome regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexuality, or disability. The Church is listed by Changing Attitude as an inclusive Church, by Inclusive Church, and by the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement - South Wales as "gay friendly".

ASCENSION DAY

Thursday 10th May is Ascension Day and there are two services in the Parish, one at 9.30am and the other at 7pm, both in St. Michael’s.

AN EVENING OF SONGS

On Saturday 12th May there will be a wonderful fundraiser kindly arranged by Gill: ‘An Evening of Songs’ by three singers from the RWCMD. It starts at 7.30pm and is in St. Michael’s. Tickets are �6, to include refreshments. Please come and invite your friends. It is so important that we support these lovely events.

TAIZÉ Service

On Sunday 13th May at 7pm in St. Teilo’s there is a Taizé Service. All are welcome.

KEEPING PEOPLE SAFE - HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING

Where: St Peter’s Community Hall, Fairwater, CF5 3DW When: Saturday 12 May 2018 – 9:30am – 12:30pm Suitable for: Health and Safety Officers, PCC Members, Church Wardens
Training Provider: Rose Burridge, course material provided by EIG

FOR ALL INVOLVED WITH CHILDREN

A training session for the Deanery to be led by Liz Tibbatts, Provincial Safeguarding Support Officer for L1andaff. This will be held at St Edward's Church, Westville Road, Penylan, Cardiff CF23 SDE on Wednesday 20th June 2018 from 6:30 until 9pm. There is ample parking on the roads around the church. Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits will be provided. It is important you register with Briony Davies at the Diocesan Office brionydavies@churchinwales.org.uk

MEETING ROOM CAFÉ

The Meeting Room Café is closed for the next few months whilst a super new kitchen is installed. Watch this space for news of the Grand Re-opening!!

THE CHOIR

The choir meets on Wednesdays in St.Teilo's at 7.45 pm, and on Sundays at 10.30 am before the morning service. New members are welcome in all voice parts. It is a young(ish) and very friendly choir directed by Alex Thacker, a recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Conductor of the Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society.

THE PARISH OF CATHAYS

St. Teilo's and St. Michael's are the two churches which together comprise the Parish of Cathays. Further information about the Parish and the two churches can be found on the Parish website.

MUTIN CAVAILL-COLLÉ 'ORGUE DE CHOEUR

More pictures of the Mutin Cavaillé-Coll 'Orgue de Choeur' (1902) have been posted here. They show the organ as it was at St. David's Pontycymmer, before being moved to St. Teilo's where it awaits restoration.
