All, all, all are offered a warm welcome to the Church of St Andrew and St Teilo (St Teilo's) in the Parish of Cathays.

We are inclusive.

We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is GOOD NEWS for every generation and every person, regardless of their age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender.

The values that matter most to us are:

  • respect and mutual concern for other human beings,
  • respect for the environment,
  • sharing God’s love and fellowship through word, sacrament and hospitality
  • worshipping communally
  • connecting with people in the issues of their day-to-day lives.

Situated near the heart of the Welsh capital, Cardiff (view our location), and close to the University of Cardiff and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, St Andrew and St Teilo is in the Parish of Cathays, in the Llandaff Diocese of the Church in Wales. St Teilo's sister church in the Parish is St Michael and All Angels, Whitchurch Road, Cathays.

Anglican Christian worship has taken place at St Teilo's for over 100 years and the Church is committed to the worship of God in the Liberal Catholic tradition.

The church may be booked by performing groups as a rehearsal and performance space. We regard the performing arts as being an essential part of our spiritual life. This aspect is managed by St Teilo Arts, a registered charity based at the church. Its remit is to promote the arts in Cathays and the wider area by making the church available to suitable groups.
